Rice, Peterson and Hardy reaction.

While the NFL gets very little love from us in its handling of Domestic Violence, we appreciate and applaud the MN Vikings for de activating their star running back, Adrian Peterson. At the same time we deplored the Carolina Panthers’ insistence on playing Mr. Hardy till the last minute. Were they crazy? At the last minute the Panthers did the right thing. Perhaps, with the NFL’s judgement in question, the handling of a Mr. Rice, Mr. Peterson and Mr. Hardy may depend on the moral compass leagues teams, themselves. Let’s all show teams that “do the right thing” our “love”. Sunday’s victors do NOT overcome the victims created during the rest of the week. The human teeter totter of bad behavior “off the field” cannot and will not ever be balanced by “on the field” excellence! This is not to say that Rice or Peterson or Hardy cannot redeem, themselves. Of course, they can, but that is a diff issue. Redemption comes after admission and sincere contribution.
