Student Advertising Review
|FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE From The MIKEROSCOPE
As you watch the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb 1, think of the hundreds upon hundreds of high school students from Metro Detroit and across the US who will be studying the nuances of each commercial. They will be evaluating all the Super Bowl ads by visiting America’s Marketing High School website immediately after the game. 175 – 225/50 local students will attend UDM’s annual Pizza (donated by Domino’s) and Pretzel Press Party at UDM’s “Student Fitness Center” on the Main Campus (Monday, Feb 2 at 12 Noon) as the results of our (AMHS’) high school poll are revealed. (The Press Conf will be streamed through REMC www.MIStreamnet.org and Wayne Regional Education Service Agency [RESA].) Our survey results will be compared with USA Today’s Ad Meter. We at AMHS cordially invite ALL students and teacher/chaperone visitors from Metro Detroit Area High Schools (with completed pre-registration so we know how many are coming) and media to attend this event. The results of our student poll will be revealed starting at 12 PM and finish at 1 PM. (Press packets are provided to the media).
Again this year, prior to the said press party at Noon, local participating high school students will attend America’s Marketing High School College Road Trip from 9-11 AM. This “road trip” includes academic program presentations, interaction with UDM students, a campus tour and listening to a presentation by Mr Eli Bayless, Director of Promotions and Special Events for the Detroit Tigers, he will speak about the promo biz of baseball. All students and teachers attending the event have been asked to “Tackle Hunger” by donating canned food to benefit “Kids Against Hunger.” These items will be donated to “Kids Against Hunger” and distributed throughout Metro-Detroit by Our Lady of Perpetual Help’s Rev Chateau.
Please contact Prof. Mike Bernacchi (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Paul Galbenski Dean of Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northeast (248.770.9476/Paul.Galbenski@oakland.k12.mi.us) for more information on America’s Marketing High School or Super Bowl Ad Nauseam
