He noted that BMW, KIA, Mercedes, Nissan, Toyota, and its Lexus were “starring” with most producing 60 sec ads. He stated that there are many reasons why there were few auto ads in this yr’s SB. Perhaps, most importantly the autos increasingly want some real ROI when buying a $4½M ad. Increasingly, advertisers realize that a SB ad probably costs more like, $10M± by the time ALL production and other costs are paid.
